Why am I giving to the 2012 campaign?
I'm hopeful. Atlanta has a new Federation President, Michael P. Horowitz, from Detroit. No one seems to know much about him and his affinities. However, my dollars are a hopeful vote for progress.

Hmmmm...this is interesting. I used to work at the Detroit Jewish News (I was let go due to downsizing in 2007)
While I was there I sold advertising for what USED to be their sister paper (before it was sold, The Atlanta Jewish Times, I sold advertising over the phone from Detroit to Atlanta)
The Detroit Jewish News (I live in Detroit) is owned by Arthur Horowitz, I venture to say that Michael is related to Arthur)
